On March 8, 2025, the Trevi Fountain becomes the stage for a special event celebrating International Women’s Day, with video projections curated by Flyer for the campaign “I AM/IO SONO” and the videomapping No Borders from FLxER collective starting at 8:00 PM, promoting gender equality. This project is part of more than 100 initiatives across the city to celebrate the role of women, under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Rome.
The Trevi Fountain lights up with a new glow on the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day. For the launch of the “I AM/IO SONO” campaign by We Do It Together, a striking video mapping is projected onto the fountain, giving voice to over 40 leading figures from the worlds of entertainment, culture, and civil society, including Claudia Gerini, Monica Guerritore, Milly Carlucci, Marisa Tomei, Diane Warren, and Catherine Hardwicke.
The international campaign “I AM/IO SONO”, already presented in Times Square, is a project that affirms the value and uniqueness of every woman, promoting authentic and equal representation.
Today’s event also features the participation of Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome, Monica Lucarelli, Councillor for Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities, and Chiara Tilesi, founder of We Do It Together, the nonprofit production company dedicated to promoting fair representation of women in cinema and media.
